Updated that the case is closed on his death and all charges dropped.Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 21:19, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
User:Pharaoh of the Wizards, while it's fine to update the Infobox to destress the charges and convictions, removing sourced history concerning the fact that there were prior charges, convictions, and penalties from the body of the article, smacks of WP:POV editing. If the newer actions of the judiciary overturn the earlier ones, then say that, and source it; do not just whitewash it as if the earlier events never happened. Were these charges disputed? Dropped because he died without a determination of guilt? Completely false from the beginning and politically motivated? These questions need to be addressed and sourced; simply wiping out the history, is not the way. I haven't reverted you, but I will, if appropriate adjustments are not made after a decent interval. Other articles here deal with similar situations; look up how they handle cases of disputed, or erroneous convictions. The case of Alfred Dreyfus is a very famous one, so much so that there may be too much there to take it all in; but in a nutshell, he was a French military officer falsely accused of espionage, convicted, stripped of his medals, and banished to a penal colony island. After an uproar and retrial, he was convicted again. Finally rehabilitated in the end, he served with distinction. But the sorry history of what happened to him earlier, is fully laid out in the article (actually, a whole series of articles; this is a very, very famous case). If you need more examples, I can probably find you some. (Adding Ralphlends.) Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 21:51, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your message Prabhakaran was not tried in the Rajiv case as India could not arrest him only a arrest warrent was issued and with his death the charges were dropped in Oct 2010 and the case is closed. It is mentioned in the article but will be WP:UNDUE in the Infobox as now conviction is not possible and it will remain only a charge or accusation. Please refer NDTV ref which statesAccording to Indian laws, charges against the accused abate after their death " .As with the infobox of Osama Bin Laden added the battles which went on for 26 year Sri Lankan Civil War.

Prabhakaran marriage

[edit]

Prabhakaran Father-in-law refused to give mathivathani to prabhakaran is a pure lie because prabhakaran's family owned a temple and they are highly spirtual Raja.m82 (talk) 13:40, 12 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 18:02, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
