"She bought a dog"

This seems like a strange to mention in one of the introductory paragraphs of her life. I'm not seeing the significance of it, nor do I see a dog mentioned anywhere else in the article. I'm removing this line for now.--The Ninth Bright Shiner 23:09, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

excessive repetition of the term "Lady Bird"
